Did You Know . . .

  • Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church has approximately 600 registered families and 1500 members.
  • There are approximately 40 Homebound and Nursing Home members that are regularly visited by our parishioners working in the Homebound Ministry. If interested in becoming part of this ministry, please call the Church Office.
  • We exceeded our 2016 Catholic Charities goal of $56,000.
  • Our Lady of Lourdes was 50 years old on Christmas Eve 2009, as the very first Mass celebrated was the Midnight Mass of Christmas in 1959. OLL turns 57 this year, on Christmas Eve!! Thank you Lord, for this Parish, our talented Lay Members and the Priests with which You have Blessed Us!
  • In 1999, Our Lady of Lourdes became a "Tithing Parish".
  • Our Lady of Lourdes is helping a Catholic Mission in Ferrier, Haiti. With this year’s donation, Sister Pat and Sister Donna continue the Food Program for the Elderly and Chronically Ill in the Myron area. They are now also able to send people to the Clinic and Hospital for needed Medical Care.
  • Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Statistics: 6 Weddings; 31 Baptisms; 23 Funerals.

The report shows an increase of nearly 18 million more Catholics globally, or an increase of about 0.04%. This means there are now 17.5 baptized Catholics for every 100 people in the world at the end of 2012 (17 1/2%). (About 1.228 billion Catholics World Wide in a total global population of 7.023 billion).
